To support Norway’s growing EV adoption in extreme climates, we recently deployed a network of 20 cold-resistant DC fast chargers (60-120kW) across key Oslo.
These stations are specially engineered to operate reliably in temperatures as low as -40°C, featuring:
Heated charging cables & connectors to prevent freezing
Thermal-insulated enclosures for power modules
Frost-proof touchscreens with glove-friendly interfaces
Remote pre-conditioning to optimize battery charging in cold weather
Our local partners reported a 98% uptime even during harsh winter storms, thanks to real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance. The project also included training for regional technicians to handle on-site servicing, minimizing downtime.
This expansion reinforces our expertise in arctic-grade EV infrastructure, following successful installations in Norway. Future phases will bring ultra-fast 350kW chargers to major highways by 2025.
